Aria (アリア, Aria?) is a science fiction manga by Kozue Amano (天野
こずえ, Amano Kozue?). The series was originally titled Aqua (アクア, Aqua?) when it was
published by Enix in the magazine Monthly Stencil, then retitled when it moved to
Mag Garden's magazine Comic Blade.[6] Aqua was serialized in Stencil from 2001 to
2002 and collected in two tankōbon volumes. Aria was serialized in Comic Blade from
November 2002 to April 2008 and collected in twelve volumes. The series has been
adapted as an anime television series, with a first season broadcast in 2005, a
second season in 2006, an OVA released September 2007, and a third season in 2008
that ended around the same time as the manga serialization.

Akari and Akatsuki and joins them on a gondola tour of Neo-Venezia and up
the floating weather station, becoming friends with Akari in the process.

and discovering her amazing singing talent. While escorting Aika and Alice
home, Akari suffers a short emotional breakdown, realizing they three will
also have to part ways one day. |

of Neo-Venezia. This depresses an apprentice glassmaker riding with them,
until Akari points out that Neo-Venezia may look like Venice, but the process
of building it was different—that this is its own place, with its own memories
to cherish. Akatsuki's brother tells her she will be a good undine. |

noctilucent clapper, a summer specialty of Aqua, and hangs it outside
her window. The glow lasts for a month, and when it dies, the clapper drops

third, Ayume, plans not to take it, in part because of the difficulty. Akari's
skill convinces the others that she will soon be a Prima, and her desire
to move forward to meet each new challenge both gives Anzu and Atora renewed
confidence that they will pass and convinces Ayume to take the test. (Adapted

cannot remember the names of the people around her. In a panic, Alice calls
Akari for help. Akari and Alicia visit Athena and her memories slowly begin
to come back. Akari and Alice decide to take Athena to familiar places and
her memory slowly returns, except her memory of Alice. Saddened by the fact
that Athena cannot remember her, Athena reveals that she had been faking
her amnesia because she wanted to know how Alice felt about her. |

graduates from middle school and Athena decides to take her on a picnic.

Secretly, Athena takes Alice on the Single promotion exam route on the overland
canal towards the Hill of Hope. Upon arrival, Alice notices that Akari,
Aika, executives of Orange Planet, and a representative from the Gondola
Association are there. Athena promotes Alice to Prima and gives her the
title Orange Princess, making her the first ever undine to ever get promoted
from Pair to Prima. |

about Aika's promotion, so Alicia decides to have her promotion exam the
next day. That night, Akari cannot sleep and spends some time rowing at
night, where she meets Woody and Akatsuki. After morning showers, Alicia
takes Akari on her exmas and Akari guides Alicia through the city. During
the exam an number of their friends see Akari taking her test and send out
their encouragement. Upon completion of the exam, Alicia promotes Akari
to a Prima and gives her the title of Aquamarine. |
