Kanon (カノン, Kanon?) is a Japanese adult visual novel developed
by Key and released on June 4, 1999 for the PC. An all ages version for the PC was
released in January 2000, and was later ported to the Dreamcast, PlayStation 2,
and PlayStation Portable. The Kanon Standard Edition was released for the PC in
November 2004 playable as a DVD-ROM in adult and all-ages versions; this version
incorporates the few extra graphics added to the earlier all-ages version of the
game. Both Standard Editions add support for Windows 2000/XP and other technical
changes such as more save slots. Otherwise, the all-ages Kanon Standard Edition
is the same as the original all-ages version released for the game.

Aoki Densetsu Shoot! is a Japanese anime produced by Toei
Animation between November 7, 1993 and December 25, 1994 on the Fuji TV
television network; there were fifty-eight episodes. The story revolves around a
boy named Toshihiko Tanaka, who has just started at Kakegawa High School in
order to play soccer with his idol, Yoshiharu Kubo. Toshi's friends are noy
interested in playing soccer again this year until he convinces them to join the
team. Soon, the team is entered into the All-Japan High School Championship.
The series is based on the manga Shoot! by Tsukasa Ōshima, which won the 1994
Kodansha Manga Award for shōnen.

Higurashi no Naku Koro ni (ひぐらしのなく頃に, Higurashi no Naku Koro
ni? literally When Cicadas Cry), known as When They Cry - Higurashi no Naku Koro
Ni in the English version of the anime,[1] is a Japanese murder mystery dōjin soft
visual novel series based on the NScripter engine, produced by 07th Expansion. The
series is focused on a group of young friends and the strange events that occur
in the village that they live in. The first game in the series, Onikakushi-hen,
was released on August 10, 2002 and the eighth and final game in the original PC
series, Matsuribayashi-hen, was released on August 13, 2006. In addition to the
original series, new arcs have been created in manga form and in video games for
the PlayStation 2 and Nintendo DS in order to expand upon the story further.

Kodomo no Omocha (こどものおもちゃ, Kodomo no Omocha?, lit. Child's Toy)
is a manga series by mangaka Miho Obana, helped periodically by her sister, Kaori
Obana. The series is commonly known under the name Kodocha.[1] The manga won the
1998 Kodansha Manga Award for shōjo.[2] The series was adapted as an OVA and later
as an anime television series.[3][4]
The manga was published in North America in English by Tokyopop as Kodocha: Sana's
Stage,[1] although as of 2006, it is out of print.[5] The anime was licensed for
North American distribution by FUNimation and currently airs as part of the FUNimation
programming block on CoLours TV, as well as the FUNimation Channel.

Strawberry Marshmallow (苺ましまろ, Ichigo Mashimaro?) is a Japanese
manga series by manga creator Barasui about the adventures of four elementary school
girls and their older sister-figure.[1] It was created by Barasui for the manga
magazine Dengeki Daioh in 2002. In 2005, the series was adapted into an anime series
and a PlayStation 2 video game. Three original video animation episodes were later
released in 2007; the first episode went on sale on February 23, 2007. The advertising
theme for the series was "Cute is justice!" (かわいいは、正義!, Kawaii wa, seigi!?).[2]
The Japanese pronunciation for marshmallow is mashumaro (マシュマロ, mashumaro?). The
Japanese title of the series is Ichigo Mashimaro (苺ましまろ, Ichigo Mashimaro?). Confusingly,
there is a completely different manga titled Ichigo Mashumaro (苺ましゅまろ, Ichigo Mashumaro?).
